Alaska's Inside Passage in the Tongass National Forest

Boat taxi to U.S. Forest Service cabins & remote drop off sites. We transport passengers, watercraft & freight.

Paddlers-(unguided)

We will haul your gear and canoes, kayaks, or rafts to Telegraph Creek. We can carry a maximum of four canoes or 8 kayaks on the Chutine Warrior including 8 passengers and gear. Maximum group size 16 (two boats). We will help you mark your map as we go up-river to assist in your navigation as you float down. The Stikine is not technical water (class 3 or less depending on the stage of the river) but it has some significant whirlpools and logjams. Caution is advised. This is not a trip for novice paddlers. You are way back on this trip. There are no roads, power lines and very rare aircraft traffic. You can’t even call anybody on a radio! If you prefer not to paddle across the salt water to Wrangell (about 5 miles) upon your return to the coast, for an additional charge we can pick you up at the mouth of the Stikine or points upstream.
