DAY TOUR PRICES

Day Tours include:interpretaton of local flora,fauna and wildlife, all permits,courtesy transfers, beverages, local, Native & gold rush history, map of tour, as well as excellent photo opportunities. All Alaska Waters guests receive a 10% discount on their initial purchase at our gift shop.

All tours depart from our tour desk/gift shop conveniently located on the downtown, on the waterfront at 107 Stikine Avenue in the lobby of the Stikine Inn.

Discounts: A 10% discount for Senior Citizens, AARP & AAA members.This discount cannot be used with any other discount.

Guided AnAn Bear & Wildlife Observatory Day Tour:
Season: June 25 through August 20
Professionally guided, 6 hour tour...... Price: Adults:$265.00/adult. Children: $212.00/youth 12 & under plus 7% city sales tax.

*All guests touring AnAn must be able to ascend and descend several flights of stairs and walk well on uneven surfaces.

Professionally guided, 6 hour tour.......Price:Adults: $199.00/adult Children: $159.20/youth 12 & under plus 7% city sales tax.

Stikine Delta Wildlife Day Tour: Season: 4th week in April to May 1st. Professionally guided, 3 hour tour.......Price:$102.00/guest plus 7% city sales tax.

Prescheduled departures during Stikine River Garnet Festival:4/25& 4/26, 2009. Custom departures available, please call.

LeConte Glacier Bay & Petersburg "Alaska's Little Norway" Day Tour: Season: May 1 - August 31.

Professionally guided, 2.5 hour van/bus tour.....Price:Adults: $45.00/adult Children: $36.00/youth 12 & under plus 7% city sales tax.

Safaris take place on the Stikine River. River Safaris Include: all meals & lodging while on the river, walking tour of Telegraph Creek, driving tour to Tahltan River & a white water jet boat tour of Canada's Grand Canyon, river side BBQ, exploration nature walks at various points of interest along the river as well as professional full time outfitter/guide services.

Custom departures for River Safaris are available for groups of 8 guests or more.

Private RV Park: Full hook up, level site,wireless internet access,quiet wooded area in secure location. We are conveniently close to town. Electric heating of RV’s not allowed at these rates. Complimentary transfers for tour guests. All rates are subject to 7% city sales tax.

Water Taxi & Remote Site Drop Off: Boat taxi to remote drop off sites such as U.S.F.S. Cabins. We transport guests, canoes/kayaks & freight. Please contact our tour desk for water taxi prices to remote destinations not listed.

Water Taxi Price reflects fare on prescheduled departures only. Custom departures available please contact our tour desk. *Price does not include any day tours, meals, lodging or additional guide services.

Custom Group Departures: We offer custom departures for groups on all tours and water taxi service. Please contact our tour desk for details and prices.

Choosing an Eco-tour company: Here are a few things to consider when choosing an adventure tour company/outfitter guide:
1. Does the outfitter stress safety and have a good safety record?
2. Does the company offer a menu of services and offer exceptional customer service?
3. Are they candid about cancellation and rescheduling policies?
4. Are they locally owned and operated with an Alaskan staff?
5. Do not shop by price alone; low prices for services often means low budget guides with minimal experience, inferior equipment and compromised services.

Confirmation and Payment: A 50% deposit is due within 1 weeks of making a reservation. This will confirm your reservation and you will be sent a deposit receipt, check-in policy and an "Alaska Waters Travel Tips" sheet.

All reservations require a minimum deposit of 50% of your total tour price 7 days from the date of reservation request . Reservations requested under 60 days will require full payment.

Final Payment: is automatically charged to the credit card on file 60 days prior to travel. If you prefer to pay with a different method, please contact us prior to the final payment due date.

For reservations made within 60 days of your travel start date, payment in FULL is required upon confirmation of services.

60 days: Deposits are 75% refundable if cancellation is made 60 days prior to tour, charter, R.V. space rental and/or tour departure. Cancellations must be in writing.

30 days: Deposits are 50% refundable if cancellation is made 30 days prior to tour,charter, R.V. space rental and/or tour departure.

Less than 30 days: No refunds are available. Please contact Alaska Waters for extenuating circumstances.

Weight Restriction: Passengers weighing in excess of 300 lbs. will be allocated two seats and charged an additional 50% of the normal tour price.

Additional Information: Itineraries may vary dependent upon wind, weather, river conditions & captain discretion.

Please call us upon your arrival in Wrangell to confirm tour departure time. Tour departure times are subject to change.

Trips run rain or shine. Unless there is an emergency and rescheduling must be made.

In the rare event that Alaska Waters, Inc. cancels a tour prior to departure and guests can not be rescheduled, a full refund will be granted.

Due to the short Alaskan travel season, many tours book up early. Reservations are highly recommended. However, "walk in" and short notice reservations are welcome and accommodated on a space available basis.
